SYNOPSIS - The Alpes, in the dead of winter.
Marie, 45, struggles to make ends meet. She holds down a number of part-time jobs and traffics cigarettes between France and Italy, with the implicit help of her lover Alex, a border policeman. When she meets Souleymane, a young illegal alien from Gambia, she gets caught up in a spiral that will force her to take a great many risks.
